Damon Self-Ligating Braces
These are the most modern type of brace. The beauty of these braces is that there is considerably less friction produced between the wires and braces. This means that teeth move more rapidly, and hence treatment time is shortened. It's also more gentle on the teeth and fewer appointments are needed (i.e. less adjustments). Using these low friction braces, we’ve also found we can treat more patients without the need for extractions.
